Most reported victims of intimate partner violence are women, and this program never argues otherwise. But roughly three in ten adults reporting lifetime IPV are men, and family law practice is where their cases are most often misread. In one hour we trace how professional defaults shape the record: intake questions that screen him out, demeanor-based credibility judgments, dominant-aggressor shortcuts, and the Family Code section 3044 stakes when a finding lands on the wrong party. Attorneys leave with intake, documentation, and referral practices they can use the same week.
