Law and Motion Practicum

Description

This in-person practicum will be your opportunity to participate and apply the best practice guidelines from the August 18 Law and Motion webinar covering the following topics:

  • A street-level and ivory-tower discourse into family law motion practice from pre-filing, filing, hearing and post-hearing. Topics include:
  • Pre-filing client education as to strategy and expectations
  • Pre-filing factual due diligence, discovery and disclosures
  • Filing the perfect declaration/s and exhibit/s
  • Meeting and conferring pre-filing and pre-hearing
  • Presentation in court with ease and effect on specific issues of domestic violence, custody and timeshare, support, and property issues
  • The court’s requests and admonishments (from experience!)
  • Post-hearing follow up.
